Hey there, explorers! I’m Alex, your chatterbox and certified adventure junkie. I hail from the bustling yet breathtaking city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Since I was a little kid, I knew that one place couldn’t contain all the adventures I craved.
Growing up, I bounced around different states in Brazil and spent school breaks soaking up the countryside vibes at my grandparents’ place. In my teens, my love for discovery led me to devour countless travel books, dreaming of the places hidden within their pages. But real travels had to wait until I landed a job – a classic story!
After finally turning those dream pages into real-life adventures, I found myself juggling exploration with a 9 to 5. That’s when I decided it was time for a big move. Ten years ago, Ireland became my home, and later, Portugal joined the list. In 2020, I made a bold return to North America, settling in the chilly, yet charming, capital of Manitoba, Winnipeg.
When I’m not navigating the world, you can catch me savoring new beer flavors and exploring local brews wherever I roam. Hiking has become a bit of an obsession, especially with the incredible spots North America has to offer.

But guess what? Planning trips, something most people find tedious, is my sweet spot.
